Peachtree Corners was planned around work — Technology Park, the engineering firms, the Chattahoochee River as the backyard — and its housing followed the professionals: nineties and 2000s subdivisions, townhome communities, and executive homes with primary suites built for the era's idea of luxury. That idea usually included a garden tub the size of a small boat and a shower stall sized for one elbow at a time. We know, because we convert a lot of them.
From Garden Tub to Walk-In Shower
Tub to shower conversion is the project Peachtree Corners homeowners call Alpine Development Groups LLC about most. Based in Austell, GA, we remove the unused tub and build a walk-in tile shower in its footprint: bonded waterproof membrane, a pan sloped true to the drain, tile you chose, and glass that visually doubles the room. For the professionals working from home along the river corridor, the curbless or low-threshold entry is practical; for everyone, deleting a fixture you dust but never fill is simply satisfying.
Many of these projects grow into full bathroom remodels, and our full remodel service handles the whole room properly — plumbing corrected, electrical updated, floors leveled, full waterproofing behind every wet surface, then your finishes. Peachtree Corners' subdivision homes are well-framed and straightforward to work in, which means the budget goes into the tile, the glass, and the craft instead of structural surprises.

Our custom tile showers and walk-in showers are engineered below the surface and finished with discipline above it: large-format porcelain, handmade-look tile, or marble-look slabs with grout lines that hold their spacing around benches and niches. Niches get framed where your hand naturally reaches. Benches get built for sitting. Fixtures come in the finish you want — brushed brass, matte black, polished nickel — and feel machined, not molded.
Custom Tile Showers, Engineered Right
The smaller baths complete the picture. A small bathroom and powder room remodel in Peachtree Corners — floating vanity, oversized mirror, tile that stretches the floor visually — takes the rooms your colleagues see when they visit from dated to deliberate. The powder room near the home office earns its keep on every video call break.
