Rest Haven is easy to miss on a map and easy to love in person — a small town straddling the Gwinnett and Hall county line, all quiet streets and well-kept homes, the kind of place where people know their neighbors and stay put for decades. The houses here are mostly modest ranch homes and cottages from the sixties through the nineties, and their bathrooms tell the story of long, comfortable ownership: original fixtures worn smooth by years of use, tile that was fashionable when it went in, and the slow accumulation of small repairs.
Full Remodels for Rest Haven's Ranch Homes
Alpine Development Groups LLC, based in Austell, GA, does full bathroom remodels in Rest Haven for homeowners who have decided the bathroom's turn has finally come. A full remodel is the honest fix: we take the room back where it needs it, replace aging supply lines and correct venting, update the electrical, waterproof every wet surface properly, and rebuild with finishes you chose. In Rest Haven's older ranch homes we often find galvanized pipe and original cast-iron drains, and there is no better time to deal with them than when the walls are already open.
The shower is usually the heart of the project. We build custom tile showers and walk-in showers the correct way — sloped pans, bonded waterproof membranes, drains set true — then finish with tile laid to disciplined grout lines. A bench you can sit on, a niche where your hand reaches, fixtures that feel solid. For a lot of Rest Haven homeowners, it is the first shower they have ever had that was designed rather than installed.
Custom Tile Showers Done Right
Where the old tub sits unused, our tub to shower conversion gives that footprint back as a walk-in shower: curbless or low-threshold entry, real tile, real glass. It is the most practical upgrade for homeowners planning to stay in their Rest Haven home for the long run — safer, easier to clean, and better looking than the tub it replaces.

The hall baths and powder rooms get the same care. A small bathroom and powder room remodel — a new vanity, a bigger mirror, tile that brightens the whole room — takes the spaces your family uses every single day from worn to welcoming. These are the rooms that quietly shape how a house feels, and we treat them that way.
