Auburn still feels like the small railroad town it grew up as. The Whistlestop Shops downtown, the old brick storefronts along Main Street, Friday nights that stay quiet. A few minutes out, the subdivisions that filled in along Highway 29 and the back roads toward Dacula tell a different story: brick fronts and two-car garages from the eighties and nineties, most of them still carrying their original bathrooms. That is where our work in Auburn usually starts — a fiberglass tub-shower combo that has yellowed with age, a vanity with water damage at the toe-kick, grout that no amount of scrubbing rescues.
Full Bathroom Remodels Built Around How You Live
Alpine Development Groups LLC is a bathroom remodeling company based in Austell, GA, and we run full bathroom remodels across Gwinnett County, including Auburn. A full remodel with us means we take the room down to the studs where it needs it: plumbing rough-in corrected, full waterproofing behind every wet surface, electrical brought up to date, then the finishes you chose yourself — not a package someone else picked off a showroom wall.
The centerpiece of most Auburn remodels is the shower. We build custom tile showers and walk-in showers the slow way: a properly sloped pan, bonded waterproof membrane, and tile set by people who care about grout lines. A bench you will actually sit on. A niche placed where your hand reaches without thinking. Fixtures in brushed brass or matte black that feel solid the first time you turn them. If your current shower is a one-piece fiberglass unit, the difference on the first morning is hard to overstate.
Custom Tile Showers and Walk-In Showers in Auburn
Smaller baths get the same attention. Auburn has plenty of hall bathrooms and powder rooms that feel like afterthoughts, and a small bathroom and powder room remodel is often the highest-impact project in the house — a floating vanity that opens the floor, large-format tile that makes the room read bigger, a mirror and light plan that doubles the brightness.
Tub to Shower Conversions for Unused Tubs
And when the tub never gets used, our tub to shower conversion turns that dead five-foot footprint into the best part of the bathroom: a low-threshold walk-in shower with real tile, real glass, and a floor that drains the way it should. It is one of the most requested upgrades we do in Auburn, and it changes how the whole primary suite feels.
Our Straightforward Remodeling Process
Our crews protect your home like it is their own: floors covered, dust contained, the work area swept at the end of every day. Most Auburn homeowners tell us the remodel disrupted their routine far less than they feared — and that the finished room looks like it was always meant to be that way. Every project starts with a free in-home consultation. We come out, measure, listen to how you actually use the room, and leave you with a detailed written quote. No pressure, no sign-here-today pricing. Request your free in-home consultation and let us talk through what your Auburn bathroom could become.

My bathroom is leaking in Auburn — who should I call?

Timelines depend on tile selection, plumbing changes, and glass lead times, so we give every Auburn homeowner a written schedule with the quote. Most conversions move quickly once materials are on site, and we keep you updated daily until the final walkthrough.
